PLAIN SAILING FOR THE THREE PEAKS YACHT RACE!

James Mansell, Director at Clear Solutions, and the SEA CAMELS TEAM are raising money by sailing, rowing, running and cycling from Barmouth to Fort William via Snowdon, Scarfell Pike and Ben Nevis. The Three Peaks Yacht Race is a tough endurance challenge which starts on June 11th. James is no stranger to sailing success – the Clear Solutions sponsored team won the Corporate Section of the prestigious Rolex Fastnet Yacht Race last year!

There are now 14 confirmed entries in to the 2016 Three Peaks Yacht Race. The race organisers are very excited as there has also been confirmation that the race will be subject to two separate television documentaries broadcast on Channel 4, and UK Satellite channels worldwide through Dream Team Television International.

All costs are being covered personally so every penny raised will go to Acorns Children’s Hospice. We are aiming to raise £10,000 because it costs £8,500 a day to run each of the 3 hospices and they only receive 30% of this from the government, so they need our support. Each child and their family are supported throughout their life and after the children have passed away the support for families remains for as long as they want it. In the last year Acorns Children’s Hospice has provided care and support for over 760 children and more than 980 families, including those who are bereaved. Acorns relies on the community to fund the majority of the £9.3 million it costs to provide the charity’s services.
